The Holmov System Against the Pirc

The Holmov system is a great fighting system against the pirc. Not much has been written about it but it works well against a player who blindly follow the first five moves of the pirc formation. According to FIDE Master and top chess coach Sunil Weeramantry the Holmov System is simple, direct and difficult to meet. 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.Bc4 Bg7 5.Qe2 and if O-O 6.e5! Black has problems.
